Map of Continent of Equis:
Terrain map of Equestria:
Equestrian/Gryphon Border:
Not the bonus material I originally intended, but have some maps. Yes, this is taking the Equestria-as-America theme to the nth degree, but even in canon it’s pretty heavily based on American geography. More maps will follow as I find the time to make them. But please understand that creating these... takes some serious time and effort.
And lest I forget... book two is launched!!!! Read and enjoy the story of the war itself!

Eh. It works. I'm preferential to fictionalizeing the geography far more but this works.
And so the story here ends.... But the battle has only just begun....
I apparently live a short flight from Nu on the Eastern road out.... Nifty!
So I live in the middle of nowhere...RIP. (alabama)
Foal mountains? More like Fool mountains for an attacker approaching from the east. Long-range artillery capable of hitting Hollow Shades from across the lake could be effective in reducing the city — assuming they had the damn good artillerymen and scouting to locate the target — but once they try an occupy it it'll be an ambusher's paradise. The chokepoint of the west bank looks cozy too. A highway running SW/NE from the imperial center into the city makes it even better for defense since they can call in for reinforcements and supplies. Clean water around HS is abundant. I'm bringing a white flag and my most convincing smile to the negotiating table with the thestrals because I'm sure as hell not attacking it directly. I'm talking Hürtgen Forest 2.0 here.
Gnashville is an inspired choice!
Edit: Oh wait, that's the Moon River. Not as good as having a highway, but still enough to get supplies into the area.

Why thank you, sir! Hope you enjoy Into the Storm: The Flight of Firefly as well.
It doesn't look like they're doing much with Louisiana.:(
O no... Firefly eat to many Chilli Hotdogs and is burning inside up...
As the saying going:
It burn in the mouth, in the stomach and on the way out...
Woah. Canterlot is St. Louis? Ha! I feel represented.
