Actually, I don’t think he’s really considered Yonko officially. I think it’s just the News exaggerating a point to sell. It’s probably more like “he has the makings of a Yonko” much how Blackbeard did two years ago.

The main goal for Luffy now is to live up to the hype which won't be easy as everyone is going to be after him. Big Mom won't forget the humiliation she has suffered anytime soon and may follow them to Wano, Kaido is pissed and probably wants Luffy and his crew dead and judging by the bounty increase the World Government has taken notice big time.
