It is commonly accepted that alicorns have the power of all three races, correct? Strength, magic, and flight. I suppose the three magics somehow fill each other's weaknesses, thus granting some form of immortality. Interesting. But it makes one wonder, if alicorn magic is created just by mixing the three pony magics, why haven't we seen any evidence of anyone trying to artificially create it before? I mean, magic can obviously be stolen, so some mage(besides Tirek) should have tried it before.
