Well German High Command knew it would be suicidal for a frontal assault, But in several scenarios the Magiont line does work at repealing the German offensive. Stopping or slowing it down, but in a alternate scenario with the German proceeding to smash through the Magiont line. Would be to pound the line with a mix of Artillery and Bombers, but it would almost a repeat of thr First World War

Definitely, the Germans could maybe have gone through Belgium, but the vast majority of Allied Forces Europe were there to counter any German offensive. The Germans could have probably landed paratroopers to take portions of the Line from the behind, but that would not have worked well with Germany's terrible paratroops.

The French had more artillery than the Germans, and the British outclassed them with fighters. Bombing or artillery campaigns would not have worked, the Germans did not have enough raw materials to produce enough bombers and their artillery would have been counterbatteried fairly quickly.

Looking into things a while back the Line worked exactly as intended. Forcing the germans to go towards Belgium who was supposed to fight them witj the fench backing them up.

Belgium didnt really keep up that end of the deal mixed with the surprise of going through forest with tanks is what caused it to "fail"

I mean, its best to spell it correctly if you want to talk about something that had a very specific name within the realm of military operations.
