In the story I'm looking for Blueblood is portrayed as being simple minded and his spoiled behavior is written of as being part of his brain issues (sort of like turrete syndrome). The main character manages to figure this out and isn't offended by Blueblood's insults. Story progresses and they end up becoming quite good friends.

I'll be really grateful if you can help me find it.

I think you're looking for Rise of Sunbutt the Awesome by BobAlcove. There's a scene in chapter 6 similar to what you're talking about.

Blueblood also has such a characterization in the How Many Friends Have You Made Today series.
