What if, instead of resealing/dismissing Vaatu, Korra ended up merging with him as well? Since he's the manifestation of chaos and Raava's the manifestation of order, would trying to merge them together through the Avatar achieve some kind of balance?

Well... its certainly better than some of the ideas I've seen pop up for AtLA and LoK. I think it would be an interesting idea to explore because the whole point of the Avatar is bring balance between the Elements and the Worlds, bringing balance between Order and Chaos isn't that far of a stretch.

3607065 That would be interesting, but it would probably put too much of a strain on the body of the Avatar. Even someone with a really strong spirtual connection.
