I am curious on what you all think the history of life on the planet Equestria sits upon might be under realistic circumstances, and as a bonus, if the planet's history parallels Earth's, like their own dinosaurs, Ice Age, climate changes, lower or higher sea levels, and Mass Extinction events...

I await your debates, theories, etc., hope this sparks ideas...

I just thought, they replaced apes with horses that evolved into ponies/other creatures. While Dinosaurs became Dragons.
