seeing that humans could grow back limbs and fix most if not all previous physical ailments with no assistance, I would suppose that a new better heart would grow in and find a way to expel it safely. But on the other hand I would guess the person is already in a pretty bad physical condition to beguine with both with pore health and all the drugs they are already taking not doing many favors to their liver and repressing immune system, it's probably not without it's risks.
