When it comes to the possibility of an extended-director's cut of the film, a big thing that I've been interested is Jayson Thiessen and company incorporating some certain elements to help the film maintain continuity with Seasons 1-7, and make references to the 8th & 9th seasons. Mainly by incorporating certain characters.

For me, of all the absent characters whom I believe would be important enough for an incorporation in an extended director's cut, Shining Armor and Flurry Heart are definitely the ones. After all, they're royalty as well.

But, that's why I wanted to ask you guys these simple questions:

What place would Shining Armor and Flurry Heart have in the film's story? Especially to compensate for their absences in the theatrical version? For that matter, why do you suppose they were absent in the first place?

Also, where would the Pillars of Old, Stygian, Silverstream, Ocean Flow, Sky Beak, Terramar, Prince Blueblood, and Chancellor Neighsay fit into the mix?
