If we're basing this off of stats, strengths, and weaknesses: Camp Counselor Jason has things beat in places that Sunny is lacking in. The mad-lad is able to hold his breath underwater for extended periods of time while he picks up trash from the lakebed, has managed to tame a family of Grizzly Bears in a way that makes him feel like The Second Coming of Fluttershy, the Camp-goers and other Camp Counselors look up to and admire Jason for both his kindness, work ethics, and raw power. And it should be stated that Jason Voorhees was the only one that managed to calm down Carrie with a hug.
