So I have been on this site for a fair amount of time now. I have even started my own story.

But i still have no clue what the difference between a pre-reader, a proofreader, and an editor is. It seems everywhere i see these words they are used interchangeably to just mean someone who looks over a story for you. Whats the difference?

An editor goes through and corrects mistakes and tells you what you can docto make the story the best it can be. I always have a few people proofread mine, just to hear opinions and to find any obvious mistakes that were missed by the editor. Also, you should read it several times, too. It's nice to have fresh eyes reading it before it gets published. Good luck with your story!
