Hello there, I recently joined today because of a story Idea I've had for a year now. but I don't know how to tackle this big of an idea really. Any and all help will be greatly welcomed.

I usually make a sentence that answers the question, what is the story about?
Then I start from there. Mind you, I've got some experience working with short stories.

Idea: Zecora rhymes a lot. Would it be funny if she was a healer at a hospital and she rhymes there.

Idea to work from: Zecora joins the Code Black team at Halterville Medical.

Code Black is like the worst case medical situation with lots of incoming patients.

yeah, a little, but i'm trying to work on a long fic. looking for a Co-Author/editor really. someone that can be like a second pair of eyes and add what they think is helpful.

the story is about a kid that can magically summon armies. but I want to stick with only one army from any fictional universe. I want to also go for a family/adventure type of story as well with this.
