5947862 well the main issue I have is paragraphing. My sub was denied due to me having two people talking in the same paragraph and I'm trying to find a way to fix it

Having two people talk in the same paragraph can be confusing to readers.
You have to separate the lines of dialog.

Octavia looked up from her cellphone. "Vinyl, the movie starts at four."

Vinyl gasped. "That early! What about breakfast?"

Octavia just sighed.

Dialog from a different char gets its own paragraph.
This makes it easier for readers to tell who is saying what.

If a person talks and it's kinda long you can break it up into a paragraph.
