My muse has been bugging me with this idea for some time, so I decided to seek a second opinion about it.

Summary:
Sunset Shimmer had it all planed out.

She would enter the mirror, find out exactly what Princess Celestia was so unfairly keeping away from her, claim its powers for her own, reach her full potential and ascend to her rightful place! She would succeed and fulfill her destiny! No matter what the Princess said about it or how she attempted to thwart her!

Although, truthfully speaking, ending up stranded into an apparently magic-less world wasn’t exactly part of the plan.

Neither was being nearly killed by a weird self moving steel chariot, somehow healing herself in a sudden burst of strange yellow fire, OR ending up in the home of a curious purple haired girl capable of summoning some kind of equally odd orange fire of her own.

Guess she should have remembered that no plan really survives contact with the enemy.

So, the basic idea would be a crossover of sorts in which the Equestria Girls world is actually in the Katekyo Hitman Reborn universe, and so instead of Magic Sunset and the rest of the cast shall learn about the physics defying wonders of Dying Will Flames.

Shortly after arriving on the new world, and still disoriented by not being able to feel her magic for the first time in her life, Sunset would be hit by a car, whose driver would then run away, and as she lays there bleeding in the ground she would refuse to let things end like that and awaken her Dying Will flames. She would get Sun flames, which would heal her wounds, but then she would pass out due to exhaustion.

The event would have been witnesed by a purple skinned girl, who had recently discovered she could summon odd orange flames that defied everything her scientific mind thought possible, and following a gut instinct and a rush of both panic and curiosity Twilight would then bring the uncouncious Sunset to her home.

And that would be the start of the story.
From there things would go a heavy AU route in regards to EQG canon, with Sunset and Twilight having to deal with their strange new powers, and the very unwanted atention that Twilight Sky flames would have with the criminal underwolrd of the KHR universe.

Oh, and it would be a very slow burn Romance between Sunset and Sci-Twi.
