You know that type of fan-fiction? That's actually decently good on its own merits, the author quite clearly has a lot of love for the material, but s/he just~ can't seem to nail the original tone?
Well, give it a Hollywood budget, a script solid enough to get some of the big name stars to come work with you, and that's about it, really.

I felt a great disturbance in my followers, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly engaged in a blogpost. Hell, I think I saw some of you cringe! (In my mind's eye! I'm not hacking your computers/phones! yet. But soon you will all have to read my Romance fics!)
Yay, my first story has been approved! Now to see if people actually like it enough for me to continue (might do that anyways).
Unfortunately, I missed my birthday deadline

You know, I've been wondering: can you write a legitimately exciting story about mathematics? It seems like the answer would be "yes, ye can, ye scurvy dog." But it seems very hard; I think there are a few questions that would need to be answered first:
1. What is the driving plot device?
2. How do you make math exciting and attention holding?
3. How does the author write for non-PhD's? How is the particular field in math explained without feeling condescending or too jargon-y?

So, I can't sleep and I've just been trying to write a chapter for You Thought You Knew Canterlot High, but my co-writer's been really busy, so I'm all alone. 
Anyways, insomnia has decided to take me out on an unwelcome date, thus being the cause of this blog post. I'm not really sure what I'm going to end up writing, but I'm just gonna write and see what comes out.

Even with a RAM boost, my oldest PC is still pretty slow. I mean, sure, it’s definitely several times faster compared to when it only had 64mb of RAM, but now the CPU is bottlenecking the entire freakin’ thing.
It’s actually becoming quite enjoyable to write adventure-heavy stories with a ton of worldbuilding/plotbuilding.
Well, this was a long time coming, but here we are.
Okay, this one I freely admit I didn't see until last night. Now, before you give me a shout on how I'm not a true Marvel fan, let me just say this. I do not generally follow every character, nor do I want to. My only context for seeing Black Panther in any form of media is generally when he's with his fellow Avengers. I've never had much desire to go beyond that. Okay, good.
The short answer is no. Believe it or not writing fanfictions makes us one of the most normal and average creative types there is. Fanfictions have existed for hundreds of years. A good example is "Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare. The story written was based on a real tale of love and loss, but the story itself is fiction. But wait, I can hear you now.
"But those are humans."
