This post is not as much of a good investigation as usual, in that it does not present a solid conclusion. We have bloody little to go on. It is, nevertheless, the most detailed collation of data I could make and an invitation to discussion.

If twitter discussions with show staff are to be believed, all comics are supposed to be canon. Of course, saying that simply means they don’t understand the question, because occasionally, irreconcilable differences arise.
In expanded universes like that, we generally consider one of the mediums the primary source, while everything else is secondary, and in case of contradictions, the primary source takes precedence.
This is not my usual fully researched and cited post, but just an observation. Potentially an important one though.
First, let me delineate for the purposes of this post and all the subsequent ones in that vein…
So I've been wondering... just what is the actual chronological order of the show's events? 
By this, I mean major holidays, festivals, and fairs that happen annually. Here's what I pretty much have figured out, starting from the beginning of a human year:
~The Grand Galloping Gala (Human equivalent to New Year's Eve; this wasn't mentioned on the show, but the Official MLP Twitter and Facebook pages said so.)
I was looking up the characteristics of a Napoleon (the US Civil War name for a 12 pounder cannon, named after one of its most enthusiastic users) for off-handed mention in a fanfic, and of course, I spelled it Neighpoleon.
An idea just came to me: The Cake is a Pie.
No, literally, this is, like, the entire thing. It explains a lot, though.
This one is a bit of a touchy subject, an argument that I expect will rage eternally no matter what anyone says on the subject. Naturally I feel the need to add my own penneth worth to the pile.
I've talked about canon before, where I touched briefly on holding too close to canon in a work that is still in production:

Do you care about canon when writing a story?
Me personally no, if I'm going to write a fan fiction that contradicts canon I will write it regardless. For I think all fan fiction is an alternate universe, so that in itself is against canon.
The theme of season six was "Explore Equestria," and the show made good on its promise. It expanded on season five's goal of developing, and expanding exotic locations within the MLP universe. We got to see the Dragonlands, and Pony Vegas. We also got to see...wherever the heck the changelings live.
I Intended my stories to have a chronological order, and in the MLP FiM timeline take place after Season 6. They are meant to re-use existing canon from the show, while adding some of my own (New characters and challenges to overcome). Think of it as an alternate timeline called "Season 6.5", which includes a premiere and finale that are longer than other stories. After the finale I may make another set of stories if 6.5 gains popularity.
I have been thinking about Twilight’s Kingdom – it’s actually the longest Points of Canon series post in terms of word count – rather a lot. Probably too much, seeing how that post ended up comparatively unread. Anyway, here, I’m about to offer some answers to the questions I posed in there…

I've been following a thread in a group here on FimFiction where people, one individual in particular though, are talking about how Celestia is grossly underused in the show, and it's just slowly but surely built up a little bit of rage in my head. See, here's the thing that gets me - these guys claim to love Celestia so much, but they alk about how ever since season 1 or 2, basically form the get-go if you read deeply into what these guys are talking about, the show has been crapping on
