I am cutting it close with the word count on my Sunset Shipping contest entry - I finally uploaded the first four chapters to Fimfiction, and they come out at 8,331 words! That leaves a mere 1,669 words left for the final (and incredibly necessary!) part if I don't wanna go over the word count.
This is gonna be tricky. I expect some painful trimming down in my future 
As I mentioned a few months back, I got promoted to being admin of the FlutterDash group. And that came with the task of trying to revitalize the group a bit.
And as noted over on the FlutterDash forum, the FlutterDash group is running a group contest this month - complete with a cash prize!

A couple weeks ago, I announced a FlutterDash contest here in my blog. The contest's writing period ends on Monday, October 3rd, so there are just 9 days left. There is a $60 cash prize associated with the contest, not to mention me reviewing your story if you want (clearly the best prize 
).

It's currently sitting at 10,955 words pre-editing, which might not be as bad as i was expecting? The word max seems to be more lenient than I thought, but I'm gonna ask Oroboro just to be sure.
Either way, I'm really happy with how it's turned out 
I don't know if it'll win, but I'm proud of it either way.
TLDR: I'm trying to figure out a gap in the plot of TBTK and want someone else to decide what side-project distracts me for a week or so.
So, I had three different ideas for the Most Dangerous Game contest that Obs has been running, and I eventually went with my second choice. I'm not terribly happy with it, because it just turned into mediocre sadfic, but that's all I could manage when I wound up with only about five hours total to write it. I didn't even get to throw it to my usual prereaders
Nothing big, just wanted to let my followers know that I'm entering the new Sunset Shipping Contest. I started work on the story yesterday and managed to get a quarter of the way done on my idea (though I will need to shave a few hundred words off of it at some point, probably...).
