As I mentioned a few months back, I got promoted to being admin of the FlutterDash group. And that came with the task of trying to revitalize the group a bit.
And as noted over on the FlutterDash forum, the FlutterDash group is running a group contest this month - complete with a cash prize!
A reminder to any of you who might be working on stories - the FlutterDash group contest closes today. If you want to get your entries in, get them submitted by tonight!
Me waiting on those BoTD summons like
This afternoon, folks, your (debatable) favorite brony throws himself into the Abyss, embracing the darkness so that the embers may once more be restored and the First Flame either rekindled, or snuffed out forever. There shall be tears. There will be fears. There will be blood. And above all else...
...there will be many souls.
Lead on, Keepers of the Bonfire. Take me to the land where time collapses on itself; where the dead never die!
Hey all you pony readers. It's time once again for me to come out of hiding and write on a webpage only to disappear for another few weeks.
But in all seriousness, I've come back to finish up "A Himaneighan Tale" and I plan to get that done by years end. I have a chapter written and waiting for edits and one or possibly two chapters left to write. Hopefully the story is as fun to read as it was to write, but also hopefully it won't take as long to read as it did to write.
I've always been keenly interested in human adaptions of everybody's favourite ponies whether it be in fiction or in art or in the movies, each interpretation is different and 'good food' for thought.
Plus, humanised Applejack is always okay in my books.
But I write this after having watched the new EG movie last night.
My thoughts...
meh.
Don't get me wrong, it was good and I'll watch it again, but I didn't think it was anything monumental.
Hey, you know it is... it's time! Time for... the daily frog blog! Please, withhold your excitement and applause for after the show.
The future of Broken then Healed is sort of up in the air. I am going to finish this book but I know that it won't be an end point for the serries. At least in so far as this book will definitely bring up more questions to be answered than it answers and in many ways I want to answer them but to do so the story structure has to change. The stories are growing beyond what I can tell with such strict narative focus on Lilac. Don't get me wrong Lilac will still be a part of the stories I have
i apologize for the wait but the third chapter for eternal love, life, and death is finally up hope you all enjoy!
I was bored today and watched XP To Level 3's video on how he made the original 12 fighters from the original N64 game into D&D characters. Needless to say, it inspired me to do something similar by turning the Mane 6 into D&D characters as well, following the same rules he made. Main difference is that I'm leaving out equipment, since I'm not gonna be all THAT technical. Now, some will be weird, but I'll explain later. Let's see what I came up! (Videos in case you're curious)
I think I owe everyone a bit more about why I went on hiatus, and pardon me if it's sloppy, I'm on mobile.
Writing is the best, really.
But it's been difficult lately, and I'm constantly overwhelmed by a lot of the things about this community alongside my work.
There's an archetype on this site of a writer who has maybe a single story or so and about 30 upvotes and 100 tracking.
Chapter 18 is done.
