Today I got my 200th follower. I would like to thank all of my followers for supporting me. I'm sorry for not getting any work done on my story Fluttershy Batwings, but I will make progress on it.

Sometimes, I check my fimFiction account, sometimes I don't. But today, I noticed something entirely peculiar...I HAVE 50 FOLLOWERS.

Which at the beginning I wasn't expecting, at all.
Especially considering I tend to achieve less than 65% (which is a B for Australian standards) on my English assignments.
One week ago, I was at 49 followers. So, honestly, It's now not much of a surprise.

Hello there, you're probably not going to get any stories anytime soon (new ones at least).
Why?
Because I'll be re-writing some (many) of them, editing, and I am still working on my 100 Follower Special Story Project.
Also Adventures of the Dash and other incomplete stories will just have to wait, sorry.

So, a big motivator on FIMFiction is the follower count. It validates ones existence and makes us happy when someone likes you enough to say they think you have something good or interesting to say.

But, sometimes people stop following others. In reality that's perfectly fine. People trim accounts that ween't as interesting as they thought they'd be, or people get annoyed/drift away in different direction. And when this happens, it's something that I wish FIMFiction would notify us about.
