Small Vent(And some news) · 9:12pm May 6th, 2016
So I won't be on later tonight. I'm gonna go see a musical with my cousin and some other people. I'll be offline in about an hour.
Ignore the vent if you want, it's under the break.

The Guardian posted an article today in which they had four physicists try to explain the idea of (newly-discovered) gravitational waves to a five year old. My feeling is that this met with varying levels of success. (These are professional physicists, after all.)
Dusting off the cobwebs here. It's been a while, hasn't it? I've been writing original fiction most of this time--that, and going to graduate school. Even as we speak I'm working on a fantasy novel, which is the second in a series I've been writing.
So Today is my Birthday! While I'm hoping to enjoy my day and hopefully fun some wonderful and interesting things to do, I know of something that I can share with the rest of you: A new story!
Yo if any of you got any ideas for a story that would be right up my ally. Or even for my existing stories. I'm all ears, hmu on skype @ sonofbelz or talk to me here, whichever you want this bird ain't picky.
A while back, I posted two(ish) long, long chapters for SFaCF within a short time span. This was because I wanted to get the chapter(s) from Adagio's POV done by a certain point, so I spent most of my waking hours writing for about a week straight. Now I find myself doing something similar because there's another point in the story I just want to get published already, but I'm not quite there yet. This is in addition to working on some other stories and the much more important classes that now
Alright then: (F2P, you payin' attention?)
I came across the story "The Blood Test" just yesterday, and I immediately noticed that the majority of comments were deleted-- most likely by Pinkam3naDian3Pi3 (Hereafter "OP," because of that ridiculous username). I asked about it, and one of OP's followers, Moon Struck, replied with (and I quote):
Sometimes people say, that a character is out of character. But what is “in character”, in this case?
I have found a good quote about this phenomena, from the Depending on the Writer page on the TV Tropes.
But first do this challenge for him I bet that shit will be hilarious. I want to see you guys sink to my level and spew some real garbage.
Does anyone know of any MLP episodes where characters cover their faces with their wings, or try to hide their faces behind their wings? If you know the episodes please tell me which ones they are.
It's to help me with a part in my animation.
Thanks a bunch. I mean, if anyone helps that is.
Sincerely,
UniqueSKD
P.S; I know it's late to say it but welcome to the Month of Love, everyone.
SPOILERS!!
Welp. What happened?
Honestly. What Was That? I have never seen character development be retconned so fast and so violently in my life.
Oh.
Scratch that. I'm forgetting about the Spike episodes...
Seriously if Spike is the new Twilight, Discord is the new Spike.
"When the ponies of Canterlot see our armor rolling through their streets, when they witness the vaunted Royal Guard withering before a hail of rockets and bullets, they'll know that the future has come to... I'm sorry, Lieutenant, am I boring you?"
-Pony Gear Solid-
...which I used for a grand total of two lines in my latest story.
My good friend Regidar has written an awesome new story. It is mighty thicc and also has two lovely perks such as: a) containing emotions and b) shrubbery.
If you like high-quality horse words and want to retain two functional kidneys, here’s the story for you.
I even got to read an early version at one point! A few years ago!
And yes, I’m back to writing my own main project and making good progress. No need to bug me about it.
Worse, these abilities when taken collectively imply that changelings are far less limited than we previously theorised. All operations so far have assumed that changelings are only capable of disguising themselves as ponies, or at worst as quadrupeds of similar proportions. In reality, however, they seem potentially able to take the form of any species, even ones significantly larger or smaller than themselves, or even inanimate objects. I shouldn't need to state that
