I'll never get to develop these in fanfiction form either.

(At Least In My Head Canon)
Or rather, little bits and pieces of it that I'm copying over from my offline Wordpad thing because- okay, fine, I'll be honest: I'm getting internet soon, but as I'm used to going to and from the public library for my free internet access, I'm still going to do so in order to stay in shape. To that end, I carry around a little 6GB flash drive around my neck, and on it I have a Windows Briefcase. It's clever, because it's sorta like an offline version of Google Docs: I can write things on the
So, in my blog post about the season 6 finale, I joked about needing the scrap all my headcanon about changelings. That prompted some thoughtful comments about why sticking to canon isn't necessary. I started writing a reply, and as I gathered my thoughts together I realized there was enough for another blog post, and here we are.
I've thought about Equestria, its cosmology and calendar and tried to reach some conclusions from what's given us by the show.
First, I would like to postulate that Equestria is indeed placed upon a spherical body, a planet. This is supported by the existence of an "arctic north" (see S03E01) (the curvature of the planet's surface causing two "poles" with arctic climate) and a transition during the "smile song" (see S02E18).
My Little Pony fan fiction relatively often compares characters like Celestia, Luna, Cadance or Discord to gods.
I personally think that while this is a curious notion, it is not unjustified.
First, we have to ask one thing:
What is a god?
Surprise, surprise, there isn't a clear and simple answer. Hence I will now try and categorize the most common types of god.
Tier I:
Villains are amazing. They create conflict and tension in a story and often thereby make it one. They can also be interesting characters. Sadly, because villains usually arrive only one at a time, we fans can only speculate how they would interact.
This is what this is: Speculation on what would happen were one to pit the major villains of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic against each other. And by 'major', I mean 'warranting a two-part episode'.
I'm currently experiencing the fourth nor'easter in as many weeks, and this time my office has chosen to close rather than simply delay opening. (It doesn't hurt that the governor's declared a state of emergency.) So, let's do a bit of housekeeping:
Firstly, lovely bit of headcanon by nemryn over here that I wanted to highlight.
It's been a fair couple of months since I last shared headcanons on anything. Which kind of bums me out to be honest, I quite enjoyed writing them up and also seeing some of the responses to them.
I still have plans for them though. I want to do more with the Equestria Girls headcanons I started this off with, in particular by writing up my headcanons pertaining to Sunset Shimmer (as daunting as that is, seeing as almost everyone who likes EG has their own take on her past and such).
So, this is it; My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is officially over. This beautiful, magical world we've come to know and love is closed off to us forever, though it will continue on without us. I'm glad that the show got a proper ending, giving us several answers about the lives of our beloved characters after the show, and letting us know that a new, studious unicorn will learn the magic of friendship with a new cast of characters.
I really like this theory, it makes a lot of sense.
So as 1 of you may know, aside from my Unforgiven saga, which I do love and have a lot of great things in store for, my primary baby is my Godzilla/Marvel crossover.
Now, I've been working on this crossover since 2009, so I've got a lot of time and thought put into it. It's not just a "Godzilla vs. the Fantastic Four" or "King Ghidorah vs. The Avengers" story, it's a universe vs. universe story, with as many characters from either side as I can possibly work in.
Bookplayer asked folks to answer her fifty questions about headcanon.
For those of you who don't know about the various "forms of canon", let me explain.
Note: This and the Saddle-Arabia profile are all headcanons made up by me and Imperator Aetheris for our AU, Karamverse.
Spoiler Free Opinions: Okay Lol so I've basically spoiled myself for the whole Series Finale of MLP Friendship is Magic (confirmed leaks with screenshots) aaaaaaaaaaaand its as bad as I thought it would be. (Though I think fans of two specific ships are going to be very happy)
(Aside from the fact that CPA was not introduced until the third movie)
I recently formulated an explanation:
The Filthy Rich of the Equestria Girls universe was once romantically involved with Abacus Cinch. Although their individual ambitions ultimately led them to drift apart, they remain friends.
Normally I wouldn't be the one to talk about what I consider canon within the show as Friendship is Magic is known to be unpredictable. As of late, however, I've been thinking of what things do I think make sense in how characters act the way they do. In other words, what do I consider canon? Well, here I'm sharing a couple random things that although I acknowledge may not be what's really going on, but ideas that I've come to accept.
Hello everyone! :D
I know I've been quite absent around here, and I apologize for that, but I've been rather busy.
Now, I'm working on a story that I'll try to post this month this story is a whole new one, not a chapter of the one I already have.
