38th Company Conquest cards, Part 1: Warlords · 7:08am Sep 1st, 2016
Hello all! Or the few people who may ever read this or care at all, anyway!
Hello all! Or the few people who may ever read this or care at all, anyway!
Now revised with corrected rules, points values, flavor text, and nifty illustrations provided by Omny87. Are you watching, Games Workshop?! Hire me, damn you!
Ha! Just kidding. I doubt I'd have either the free time to write pony stories or the money to have them illustrated working in that sweatshop.
This section contains pony Special Characters, as well as the Harmony Psychic Discipline.
Hey guys, got the latest and greatest arts all about those crazy heretics and their horses!
Geez, I'm running out of money...
SQUEEEEEEE!
So EZTP, after about a month, has completed the long-awaited (by me, anyway) group banner for the Age of Iron!
Gaze upon all the glorious horses in gaudy metal! GAZE, damn you!
After finding a few stray requests in Age of Iron stories, I've decided to compile a guide to those characters that don't talk good. Mainly the subject of those requests was Solon, but there were other characters with strange speech patterns that follow certain rules that I had assumed nobody cared about.
This will not include an Applejack section, because I'm afraid Aatxe360 will get mad at me. Plus, there's like a million examples on this site already. But mostly that first thing.
This is the newly updated codex page for the Lunar Guard. I won't be updating any more of the Codex pages, because hardly anyone pays attention to these things anyway, and I'm pretty much out of ponies for Omny to draw.
Section 4 supplemental codex: Lunar Guard
So I got a PM request from Warsmith Keagan asking me to inform my readers that his stories are unrelated to Age of Iron. Apparently it's been a problem.
So here's the part with all the Codex-specific rules and pony-oriented wargear. With this you can use the Pony Captain template to make your own totally illegal OC profile for use in... well, your head, I guess. There are worse ways to kill an afternoon.
I guess next would be the human and Iron Warrior special characters, and then units that are unique to the 38th Company detachment, but that doesn't seem as much fun. Ah, well.
Codex: 38th Company
Well, finally started re-doing the codexes. This one took me an entire evening, so I can't help but feel the time would be better spent writing? Oh well. Here's your 8th Edition stuff, part 1.
This section contains pony Special Characters, as well as the Harmony Psychic Discipline and Detachment rules.
Codex: 38th Company Section 1 - Detachment Equiis Special Characters and Special Rules
Special Rules
Welp, I got all my super-expensive rulebooks, and now everything is different.
None of my formations work now. None of the weapons are the same. My freaking TANKS have close combat attacks and Initiative isn't a thing.
Also there's this thing called the Cicatrix Maledictum that happened, I guess? It was a really big deal and was felt pretty much across the entire galaxy. Games Workshop managed to render both my fake Codex AND my fanfiction obsolete
This is it. The last Codex page. No more!
Until I make up a bunch of new characters and need to add them, I mean. Obviously.
38th Company Iron Warriors - Unique Units
This Codex supplement is a listing of all the unique Chaos Space Marines and humans in the 38th Company.
So I was just doing my usual thing, creating written art while EZTP handles the graphic kind, and then he drops these on me
Based on this design:
The revised 8th Edition rules for the Detachment Equiis generic units. Unit pictures by Omny87. I'm pleased to report that my earlier difficulties of possessing too much income have been resolved.
This section references pony units that can be taken as part of a 38th Company detachment or even used to form a purely equine detachment.
I recently finished the Graham McNeill Mechanicus trilogy Priests/Lords/Gods of Mars. It was really good.
Also, this:
'You destroyed our vessel,' said the eldar warrior-woman. 'Now we destroy yours.'
'Illogical,' said Saiixek. 'You will die too.'
'To prevent your master from acquiring such power, we would die a thousand deaths.'
'Outrageous hyperbole,' said Saiixek, slumping against a control panel as the life flooded out of him.
NauthApologies again to all my readers for the slow update progress as Twitter consumes more and more of my life. Just two more months until election season is over, and then I'll sorta-maybe quit, probably.
