Just a quick post that my Scribblefest story Marble's Horizon was recently reviewed by Titanium Dragon, a well known writer and reviewer here on the site. He previously reviewed The Reality I Choose as well. He apparently found Marble's Horizon a bit more to his liking, though, so that was nice.
So the RCL did its Bronycon thing, and we somehow ended up with a consensus that Monochromatic wrote the best story in the fandom, that my husband (we can all dream) Aragon placed, and I got an honourable mention. I also did very well in the online polling for submissions.
Most of us have 'em, most of us don't want 'em. I know I got scars from my past, from what I've dealt with. My face looks perpetually tired to the point I look strange and it kind of mars my face. I sometimes look supernaturally sad from being overwhelmed by emotions, and it's hard to wipe it off my face.
Thank to those who read my ever unpredictable stories. Ever bit of your positivity, each favorite, all the words read, means much to me. I never thought my sudden lurch and passionate fervor for pony words this year would launch me into a word count soon to surpass my also sluggish A03 form last year and this.
So, full confession, I have a lot of “Fimfic Famous” friends. I won’t list them because, well, that would be weird, and rude, but I have a lot of people I chat with with (some) regularly who are fairly successful and popular on this website. I have a lot of different interactions with them, but one that has occurred with an alarming amount of regularity is something along these lines;
Them: “My work/standing/ability is garbage.”
