X-Com. What happened? · 4:11am Mar 25th, 2021
I've noticed that several crossovers w/ X-Com & X-Com 2 WotC have not been updated.
As well as no new stories up loaded.
What's up?

They're here at last!
Yes, you're reading that right. After being totally reminded by an awesome fan that this release had slipped between the cracks (sorry!) the Dusk Guard and Dusk Rogue X-Com 2 character pools are here at last! And don't they just look spiffy!
So, I posted this and as I said in the author's notes of Chapter 1, I thought it would be a good idea to include OCs from the reader! Because X-com has that dynamic of allowing me to edit the names of soldiers and such, I just thought 'hey, why not?' I have a couple of characters from the show that are a part of the narrative, but I can only work with so many characters from the show, background or not.
Okay.
Hello everyone! My name is SuperKamek and welcome back to another episode of "Metacritic Monday", where I bitch and complain about people who bitch and complain. Apparently I can't keep a fucking promise and thus I missed last week's Metacritic Monday. To be fair, I was busy watching Captain America: Civil War with my family, so... yeah. On with the show then!
I've ran a test fort for about 6 years, and it hadn't crashed. The new reactions seem to be in working order, so I'll probably release it soon.
This took so long because I had to get rid of an old shame: I've never completed X-Com: UFO Defense before. The 1994 game, that is. I've played it as a kid, and later, but have never gotten around to actually flying to Mars. But now I have, with the help of the Final OpenX-Com mod collection!
Ever played X-Com? It’s a pretty classic series, hailing from the early 90s, that puts the player in the boots of the “Commander” of an anti-alien task force, tasked with countering an alien threat to life on Earth.
That's right! Having found a host for the proper files (Google Docs ... which was a huge "DUH" moment for me), you can now download and add the protagonists from One Drink, Dead Silver, and Colony to you X-Com 2 games!
How cool is that huh?
As some of you may or may not know, I am playing a live stream series of me playing X-Com with my soldiers named after bronies I know, some of them famous authors and artists. The stream will be starting tomorrow at 7PM Eastern time and will go to 9PM Eastern time.
Full post here! And don't forget the Reddit AMA Reminder!
And here I thought bandits were bad. Oh well.
Well after making my comeback with Halloween, it's time to start producing some stories again. Starting towards the week end, most likely Friday.
Anyway, this time you can expect a less horrifyingly intense story. Coming up into another shipping story featuring another ship I've not written about before, with a side of comedy. This time it will also feature two characters outside of the main six.
I mean, do I really need to say anything else? It’s almost here! Two weeks from today, you’ll finally be able to get your hands on this sweeping Fantasy-Western adventure! If you haven’t pre-ordered your copy yet so that you can have it in your hands for the first weekend of June, click the cover there to get cracking!
