Well, this is night 16 of broken cooktop. Our gas range is sadly out of commission. This means no boiling, no frying, no toasting. We're down to oven, microwave, crock pot, and pressure cooker.

One last trip to the grocery store, and I'm ready for a little friendsgiving get-together. Mom's out of state this year, so I'm hosting my best friend and a co-worker, and of course we will be doing a marathon of Make Your Mark Chapter 6 while we eat.

Never cook bacon whilst barefoot.
What spurred on that random piece of advice, you ask?
I was cooking bacon whilst barefoot, and a huge gob of scalding acid landed directly onto my foot. And it hurts. A whole f*cking lot.
Don't be like me, kid. Wear shoes while baconing.
So the entire cast iron section of one of my local Krogers was 30% off, so I splurged on a new griddle pan and invited a coworker over for dinner to pay them back for that adorable Tails plush.

So hopefully I'm not breaking any rules or anything by doing this... Anyway... I really like cooking and I figured I'd give this a shot. Maybe someone will actually like it!
Garden Veggie Frittata
Ingredients
Note: You can adjust these according to your tastes or dietary needs!
2 Tablespoons olive oil
8 large eggs
1 Cup sliced mushrooms
1 medium onion, chopped
I was supposed to make calzones today, and it started off great. I had my dough and ingredients prepped, my cooking area secured, and I just generally felt excited to do it. I spread out my dough, ladle on my sauce and cheese, and I go to fold it over.
Got up this morning and was out the door with laundry earlier than I'm out the door for work.
Once I got all that washed, hung up, and put away, I went to the grocery store to pick up some ingredients to finally try some scrambled eggs, Gordon Ramsay style, to celebrate the end of my first intermittent fast, that I'm trying to get back into.

I like cooking. It's a fairly relaxing pastime, and it leads to another of my favorite activities; eating. Today, I'm going to share with you one of my very favorite recipes; Pasta with Bacon, Spinach, and Tomatoes in Bechamel Sauce.
Ingredients: 1 lb pasta. It can be any kind of pasta. Macaroni, spaghetti, vermicelli... I prefer tortellini, myself.
So this morning, the restaurant I work at got the incorrect buns delivered, and my boss, after taking three packs for himself, told me to do whatever I want with the rest.
Naturally, I took them home on break.
