With the recent release of the Trials of a Royal Guard physical book Crystal and I are marking that as the close of our time as MLP fanfiction writers. That is probably not a shock as we've been inactive for years now. It has been a pleasure writing for you and getting to know so many great people. It is time that will be cherished.

Today is our monthly Live Event where we hop into voice chat, tell some stories, and answer questions. I'll be talking a bit about the end of Trials too.

Hey gang!

Crystal and I spent a lovely weekend with my parents to celebrate Fathers Day. As such I didn't spare a minute to write. There is a good chance I'll still get the chapter out this week though.

Alas, this is not a late April Fools joke.

Last week was a work nightmare and I was not able to get the chapter to a state remotely fit to publish. The draft is up for Patrons and, when they see it, I think they'd agree it is far too rough.

I'll be working on it throughout the week and hopefully get it out soon. It may be next Monday though.

The books arrived last week and I was thrilled with how the second printing looks. They're smaller, sleeker, and the colors really pop! I spent a lot of this weekend signing books and I'm almost finished. I have been prioritizing books that have had their shipping addresses validated. Hello Trials of a Royal Guard readers!

This week has been killer at work and this weekend I'm actually heading off with Crystal's father to attend an NFL playoff game. As such, I've not achieved remotely what I need to to present a good chapter. The writing just isn't there and I don't want to just dump it out.

As such, I doubt I'll have the update out on Monday but will probably still get it out next week. Just a heads up since many of you track the Monday release!

I wanted to give you a quick heads up that there will not be a Trials update on Monday. After spending most of the week traveling for work and now the weekend on vacation with my best friends from life I just haven't had time to polish what I've written.

No update on Monday, if things align I might get it out Wednesday.

I would like to thank you all for an extremely successful Trials of a Royal Guard launch. I'm humbled by the reception. You've all been kind to me and I truly appreciate it. I'll be taking it slow on this story to make sure I keep it as tight as possible. Expect to see it roughly once a week. There is a lot of ground to cover so I anticipate it carrying us through the year.
