its not hard to see that diamond dogs are stupid, clumsy and about as tough as pudding, but what would happen if there was one diamond dog or three that were the opposite. They would be warriors, respected by both pony and dog alike. This is the story of three such dogs, and how they came to and helped save ponyville and equestria.
This is my first story so please tell me anything wrong.

you have my attention
a few pointers:
-spiked clubs are fine but if these new dogs are 'not as dumb as those eastern diamond dogs your use to' then give them something more like heavy blades, large pole arms, ranged weapons or even some kind of bio-enhancement like flaming claws or even magic
-your moving things along too fast, slow down and focus on expanding what the reader see's, give more detail and definition but also don't take forever just to explain something like a leaf
-your characters are there and i can feel them but they lack personality ie, rarity encountered diamond dogs before so maybe she has a hatered for them, maybe she fears them and i'm sure fluttershy wouldn't be feeling too happy with them after what they did
other then that this looks to be good story
keep up the good work
thank you for the tips, i'll keep that in mind when i countinue the story.
also, the one described in the first chapter was what i'm calling a northern diamond dog, they're smart but they would rather use their size and strength and are more known for armor.
