Oh my gosh. I feel the exact same way! I like butterflies...when they're not close up. I was actually traumatized as a child when I saw a close-up photo of insect eyes (it was from a book about bees). Then a few years ago, I was shown a photo of a butterfly, close-up. Scared the crap out of me. I was traumatized all over again. That bit right in the story where Rainbow reacted like she did, wow. I related to her so much. I also would've screamed in terror if that happened. ...I'm getting chills just thinking about it...
Anyway, despite that, this was adorable! I loved it!
FlutterDash more than makes up for the little bit of trauma!

Good story. A few problems, though.
1. You switch from past to present tense a few times in the story.
2. There are minor grammatical errors, especially when expressing speech.
This was a good story, though. My advice would be to read the Writing Guide. It's extremely useful, and covers everything you need to know about writing.

Great story - I especially liked that it wasn't rushed when it comes to FlutterDash. What's more, it all happened in an interesting setting (butterflies and stuff) which actually was very vivid and not just excuse for setting up this pairing. And it had some fun parts as well, good job!

Awww...this story was so sweet.
Always loved the Flutterdash pairing, especially when its this fluffy. Angel was pretty funny in this too.
The only thing I didn't like about this story was that you described Rainbow and Fluttershy as their 'oldest friend' a little more than was necessary and it can be a bit repetitive after awhile. However, that is an extreme nitpick. The story was great overall.
