Archeology is the study of the remains of the past. The lost, forgotten, and discarded can be brought to light and learned from so that the knowledge that those in the past paid so much for might not be meaningless. Most of the time this is a good thing.

Whelp, here I am, like I said.

Hmm. I noticed a few errors in the spelling and grammar, such as extra words being present without needing them. I think the text at times gets too personal, and that you also need a comedy tag for this.

Running on nothing but OCs can be... well, to put it short, interesting. It's not a bad thing to attempt to try, but a lot of people come here wanting to read stories about ponies that they know. Like the Mane 6, the Princesses, and even background characters that they have come to love through the fandom like Vinyl Scratch and Derpy. Personally, I'm a sucker for just about every story that features Luna.

So in regards to getting more views like you wanted at the Shameless Self Promotion Bureau, I'd follow the advise of the people who posted there; fix up the profile, get a cover like a ruins or something, a pre-reader for the story might be a good idea as well.

But hey, keep going. It's your first story. Things get better.
