Amateur fanfic writer and reader. Sometimes I get dreams, dreams of ponies, and wish that someone would write a story based off them. So why not me?

Apple Bloom's not a child. She's a big pony, never mind the lack of a cutie mark. And she's going to prove it to her sister.

This year will be her first Applebuck Season, the first year she'll get to buck trees right along side with Applejack. And she'll do anything to make her sister proud.

No matter what...

Originally a chapter from my story The Second Revival of a Heart: Ponyville Days, it has been adapted into a one-shot. Enjoy.

Nothing, really. Like I said, this was originally a chapter for another story. I was struggling with it and just came up with the idea of a book report because the main character can't really read or write. It's a HiE by the way.

Originally, the scene with Twilight making dinner was my OC refusing Spike's help with the report. In his words:

"I'll write this report by myself or not at all."

Then proceeds to break Twilight's last quill.

Oh come on book reports aren't that hard... Well, In elementary to high school any way. College book reports suck.

If her leg is crooked wouldn't it be more than a sprain? Did they eat the apples while Big Mac wasn't looking?

Scootaloo was eating the apples. She ate two onscreen, then the rest offscreen.

The only experience they have of book reports is based on Spike's experience while helping Twilight. And knowing Twilight, she turned it into a college-level project.

And as for the leg, kids are kids; they exaggerate, even when they're not trying to. Either that or Applejack's diagnosis is terrible. Neither pony has a cutie mark based on medicine after all. Whichever one is easier to stomach...

:applecry: You mean I have to be in a wheelchair? I thought you said it was a sprain.

:applejackunsure: Mighty sorry, sugarcube. Ah ain't no doctor...

I agree with Applejack, some things do require help and learning, you can't do everything by yourself, cause it will eventually end in a calamity, and like she said not asking for help isn't a sign of maturity, it's a sign that you're not serious about doing what is fully required.

Book reports... I am bad on elementary level reports... on reports in general... I really hope they have an easier time then me.
