It has been ten years since Twilight Sparkle first came to Ponyville. Things have been more or less the same... but not for long.
A stranger, an alicorn like the Princesses, drifts into town. Then something happens.... Blank flanks and old ghosts of the past come to light. Many die, and many live. And a prophecy will be revealed... one that could spell the doom of everyone, not just Equestria.

NOTE: Story not yet finished; romance will come later in the story. I put this in those categories as a pre-emptive move. Also, it was hard to pick only ten characters, because this fic will be akin to a sprawling epic that involves a LOT of characters. I picked the ones that mattered the most now, but just be aware that there will be more that are central to the story.
Ah... Well isn't this odd... I was looking at the Creepypasta wiki page for "Story of the blanks" a few moments ago, and then I check out FiMfiction and this story is right at the top of the page... Kinda creepy.

Why can't anyone create their own ideas for villans?
Take what your evil villan represents and shape him accordingly.
Don't just say, Alicorn and slap a name on him you thought of in 10 seconds!

Ah. To tell the truth, I actually haven't read much of the fan fiction, just the odd piece here and there. So I don't know what is cliche and what isn't among the community, and for that I apologize.
Believe it or not, there is a reason Polaris is an alicorn. And we won't get back to him for a loooooong time, so you don't have to worry about him being the main villain, because he really isn't. But come on, it's still suspicious that he popped up right as the world ended, right? You should take Twilight's advice and give him the benefit of the doubt.
