She must race against time to seek revenge on Twilight, or be sentenced to imprisonment in Tartarus. Meanwhile, Luna aims to take down Celestia and rule under the Lunar Republic.

Stupid question, but why wasn't the mirror secured or destroyed after Twilight came back?
That IS a pretty good question. But my headcanon is that portals that are tangible objects, in ANY universe will remain solid no matter what happens to it. For example, if Sunset Shimmer tried hitting the mirror with the sledge hammer in the movie, it would have simply passed straight through. If she tried the same thing later with the portal closed, the hammer would have the same effect as in my story with the brick.
