The pacing is a bit iffy, and, glass? really? Why not give him the power of oxygen? or sunlight? I mean, I guess that's pretty cool.

Don't get me wrong, the idea of it is nice, but... 6 out of 10.

4922273 I don't know, I was just trying to make a point. In a city like manhattan, if this story is making an accurate depiction of it... oxygen and sunlight would just as plentiful as glass. Just a little, I don't know... over powered? It's like throwing a conduit with plant powers into a forest.
I was a little confused at a part in this chapter. I'll elaborate with a quote. Bold parts indicate what confused me.
The dialogue in the bold section has no subject, no way of smoothly transitioning into a clear back-and-forth discussion between Devon, Octavia and Vinyl.
Since there's no subject for the first two bits of dialogue in that section, we are led to assume that Octavia said the first bit, or;
When in actuality, it was Devon who said that. Due to a lack of explanation, this likely confused people. It confused me. A fix for this would be;
And so on and so forth. If it comes to that, it's always best to reassure yourself and put the subject who is talking before the dialogue in narration. That way there's no risk of the readers being confused.
Aside from that? I noticed that you're taking a hint from the Reapers in inFAMOUS 1. Loved that game, glad someone's using the idea of the Reapers as inspiration for a gang. And, glass powers. Vitromancy! Haven't seen anything like it so far, they should've implemented it into Second Son. Good thing you're using it as a focal point, it was free game.
I enjoy the story so far, and I hope you continue. There are flaws here and there but, as a writer of an inFAMOUS crossover story myself, I can say you're doing solid so far. The only concern I have is pacing. It was a bit fast, in all honesty, but overall it's a good start!

4924341 Thanks for the tips man. And as for the glass power, I think sucker Punch might add it as a DLC side story to Second SOn, as it was implied in one of the last audio log in the game and I quote:
Did you ever wonder how many powers you can hold? Augustine does. She doesn’t like the idea of you ever finding your way to Curdun Cay. We’ve got a lot of different counduits there. Not just the ones you’ve seen here in Seattle. Glass, wire, paper… Man, it’s a long, strange list. Imagine what would happen if you came to Curdun Cay, and if you got all those powers. What would you become? Man that scares me, and I bet it terrifies Augustine.
I might use wire and paper because it would be awesome!
