This is an absolutely darling story! Just one little thing that kind of caught me as off. You used the term Christmas throughout the story when the Equestrian equivalent would be Hearth's Warming Eve/Day. Either way, I enjoyed it immensely and you should keep writing! Kudos~

A couple notes/observations:
This passage right here nearly killed me of cute, you vicious person, you. How dare you so recklessly handle such volatile materials of cuteness!!!

Is 'preen' supposed to be 'been'? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but 'preen' just sounded odd and out of place.
And right here I think a more appropriate word for you to use would be 'housed' rather than 'homed', the latter, while a word, just sounds kinda awkward.
Also, I can understand why some people are confused by the whole Mane 6 showing up in this fic thing, but here I let it slide seeing as it's an alternate universe, not to mention a human one, and Luna is also apparently capable of traversing all over Equestria in a single night. No need to nitpick, it's just supposed to be a cute one-shot, and that it very much is.
Maybe just go with "Happy Hearth's Warming to all" instead of "Happy Hearth's Warming Day to all." It's kinda confusing saying "Happy Hearth's Warming Day to all" and then following that up with "and to all a good night." After all, in the original poem you're drawing from, it's "Merry Christmas to all," not "Merry Christmas Day to all," and people certainly do call it Christmas Day. Your choice, but I just thought that might make more sense. Once again, wonderful work my friend!

I was wondering why there is no music in equestria to speak of. you would think that they would've discovered radio by now, even if it was powered by magic. most of the hie fics, always bring their music with them. music has been such a monumental part of the human experience you know. we never are without our music. it's such a big part of our x mas celebrations.
