I do understand this, really I do. And if I could go back and write this series again, I'd probably approach the reason Trixie needs an assistant in a different way. Alas, three stories in and Trixie's ambition outweighing her actual prowess is very much an integral part of this particular universe, so there's more of it to come, should you continue to read.

Thank you for the interest. I only wish I could produce something actually worthy of it.

Thanks for the kind words.

I would however advise you *not* to continue with the series. The second story got a *lot* darker than I intended it to, way beyond show levels, such are the perils of improvised writing (I rarely plan my stuff, I just write what comes into my head!)

The third story is similar in feel to this one, but alas doesn't make any sense without the second! Oh well...
