Why is it always Dash who gets bounced around different universes?

Zeg

That was a nice little story.

Nice fanfic, very good work.

Ah, Sappho? That's a name I haven't heard in a while. This is actually quite appropo considering the old Pegasus capitol and buildings share many Greek similarities. This was a neat read.

But their bonding could have been expanded upon. I am well aware of Sappho's legend; not that. They just didn't bond all that well. There was some banter atop the mountain with the Fates, Sappho taking care of Dash, but that was about it. Didn't make me feel all that much.

Still, an interesting read. I like it that much.

Great fanfic, more! And I wonder what pony Sappho became.

Huh, Sappho was rumored to have a daughter/young lover Cleïs; now the premise of the story makes much more sense.

She's dumb enough to find it fun?
There is merit in not knowing reasons that would cause temerity.
The result is entertaining, and ironically in ignorance she best fits the whim of fate.

Very nice. I wouldn't at all mind seeing this expanded :rainbowdetermined2:

Neat! The period-adjusted English was fun. Never read anything like it before.

7382852 I've got to agree, their journey and adventure should be told in full. Specially their romance. Still, this was helluva cute at the ending, and I'd like to see more :raritywink:

Oh. Wait. I just noticed that this was written for the FTP. That's... Actually pretty clever.

Now that I think about it, I might know what attracted me to. I believe this is the first, to my knowledge, story to utilize classical Greek mythology. I don't mean just the setting and gods themselves, such as Kratos and God or War crossovers, but those presented in ancient text and myth. It's one of the closest things we have to a genuine setting close to common modern fantasy like MLP. In a way it gives the story a certain degree of authenticity. I'd very much like to read a novel-length story like this.

Perhaps the best possible interpretation of the prompt. Loved it from start to finish. I especially like the implication that either Hobbes is an agenyt of the Fates or that the Moirai are fans of Bill Watterson. Thank you for this. Best of luck in the judging.

Weird, I thought this was tagged complete.

You brilliant bastard, you wrote the ancient Greek My Little Dashie. :pinkiehappy:

When I heard the prompt, I knew this was where it was going. Good story though!

This was brilliant, hilarious, and Rainbow dash is a lesbian

7381679 look up three more things and its author. Its not just dash. Though besides this one, were else does she get displaced?

Heard this was for a contest with "RD is a lesbian" as the premise. Well played with that loophole.

There's My Little Dashie and several of its spin-offs and a few others that I can't recall the titles of; but I figure it's mostly that Rainbow Dash is the G4 equivalent of G1's Firefly, who was the one to bring Megan and her siblings from the human world to Pony Land via the Rainbow Bridge, so there's precedent for Rainbow's archetype traveling between their world and our's.
