Though I have to wonder where Luna is and how those two become sisters. Also how long is Twilight gonna stay in the past? Just a relatively short time to get Celestia on her path of pacifism or is Twi gonna be the one who oversees Celestias and possibly Lunas ascension?
For now I like the execution so keep it up.

Huh, a nice start, I think the part with Daffodil and Sunny at the beginning was sad, and the bit about the druid sacrifice was creepy. All in all, a good first chapter! Hope to see more of this sometime!
