Yknow, at some point you just gotta think enough is enough. As much of an issue as it is I can't imagine AJ hasn't gone to twilight or the princesses to ask for magical intervention

Without giving too much away, you should wait until the second Scaled Up story to see why the Princesses can’t offer much help.
Besides, if you don’t know the cause of your random growth spurts, who’s to say it can be fixed? Could just be a weird but natural phenomenon that magic can’t fix. Twilight and the Princesses are knowledgeable, sure, but even they have limits to their helpfulness.
While I like how big she's getting there will be a limit right? I mean personally anything past 50 foot is just ridiculous
Why 50 foot? Cause it's any bigger and things become ridiculous to get a proper seance of interaction scale. 50 foot is also about the average size of mobile suits in gundam witch you often see hold people or people standing in palms and on shoulders, most average transformers in g 1 are in the 30-35 foot range (using starscream as him and his seeker brothers are the majority of the cons army and the biggest population slice of cybertroinas given as their are 30 seekers of starscream's body type.

There is a limit, yes.
And you’ll be pleased to know it is well under the 50ft range you mentioned. This was all about interactivity and we knew that making someone bigger than fifty foot would begin to make things awkward.

Actually it's pain full to say but 90% of macro/micro I seen has Giantess in the 100 foot or more range or micros under 4inches yet they still act like they can interact normally with others. Actually having commonsense in scale is aggravating rare. Like its easier to find good well written displacement stories!

The thing about scale is that it's hard to visualise. You can walk out on the street and see a skyscrape and think "What would it be like if someone was that big?" But you can't know for sure because the building doesn't exactly have a sign on it saying how big it is.
You might see a car park entrance that says "Maximum height; 13'9" and think that's a pretty big height too. But you can see it a little better than the previous one.
Same for micro. You can get a ruler and look at 3 or 4 inches on the ruler, but it's hard to visualise the features.
I suppose that's why a lot of stories either get their scales mixed up or gloss over the size altogether, instead opting for purely one-sided dialogue and the like. If I ever wrote a story where the giant was larger than an interactable range, I'd either split the perspectives between the giant and an onlooker, or just keep it solely one-sided.
Though I suppose in fiction such as MLP, you have magic in play, so it's not unreasonable that the excessive sizes can interact still. Well, they might not be able to physically interact, but verbally is probably feasible. There's probably a spell for that sort of thing. Hell there's probably a spell for most inconveniences in giant stuff when it comes to magic.
