Twilight Sparkle was a prized student of Princess Celestia and Flash Sentry was a loyal Royal Guard and both were proud citizens of Equestria.
Then one day, both of them are cast out of Equestria for a crime neither of them didn't do that before they could think, they're rescued by the towering machines Gypsy Danger and Striker Eureka along with their pilots.
Once rescued, the pair learn that they were recruited by the Pan Pacific Defense Corps or PPDC to help them win the Kaiju War with Marshall Stacker Pentecost giving them this option: Where would you both rather die; in some nameless wasteland or in a Jaeger?
With their choice made, the Equestrian duo are thrust into a war of their lives...

Pretty good start. Will the story focus some on Equestria as well? Cause it'll be interesting if we get to know exactly what it was Twilight was wrongfully banished for and how Luna is taking it since I doubt she believes Twilight would do anything like it and chewing her sister out over it, especially if further investigation points towards her innocence, especially if the Tree of Harmony has something to say about it being apparently sentient as of the newest EP. Even more if whoever planted the bombs were caught with more and evidence of framing someone.
Surprised Trixie automatically got the Element of Magic seeing how you can't forcibly sever the connection between bearers unless they do something making them unworthy of it which the Elements decide for themselves on given how Celestia and Luna lost their connection cause of Nightmare Moon and the fact the Tree has Twilight's cutie mark on it which is very important.

I kinda figured that from the fact she's still a unicorn since becoming an alicorn is what made her a princess and that what this is based on still had her as one, possibly predating season 3 as of the time of the picture and story upload. Clearly Starlight wouldn't be here unless she was stupid enough to mess with time AGAIN without any precautions and I think she learned from nearly killing all life on Wasteland timeline.

Yeah, I was inspired by another Jaeger that crossed over with Neon Genesis Eva, but added Admantium.
Doesn't mean it will be fool-proof as in the movie, Striker Eureka a Mark 5 Jaeger was crippled for a little bit by an EMP blast by Leatherback.

Secondly, Queen Chrysalis if you've read it purposely put certain things in place to make it that Twilight did this and that.
Lastly, this is a fanfic okay as in the last chapter, the rangers of Cherno Alpha and Crimson Typhoon were almost killed, but were saved by Twilight and Flash and thus, both teams feel indebted to them. Behind the scenes when Kaiju aren't involved, they keep to themselves as I'll show in the next chapter.
