The Concert

Ever since you read her note, you've been looking everywhere for Vinyl. Unfortunately for you, every place in Ponyville seems not to know her or where you might find her. You've tried pubs, cafes, bars, clubs, restaurants, eateries, steak houses (you're human, deal with it bro) and even the odd fashion show. But to no avail. She seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet.

That is, until you happen across a poster for a live concert in Canterlot, featuring none other than...
Octavia. Oh, and Vinyl too. The next week you find yourself in a mile long line, waiting for a ticket to the concert. After about 6 hours (yeah, it was a damn long line) you finally get a ticket, in fact, you get the last ticket.

[ Concert songy thingy ]

After the concert, you wait outside the back stage entrance in deep thought (don't ask me, you're the one thinking!).
So deep, that you don't notice when Vinyl notices you, and walks up to say hi. So, so incredibly deep in thought that you don't even notice when Vinyl pokes you in the forehead quizzically. But no so deep that you aren't snapped out of it with a firm slap. Gentle, yet firm.

"ohmigosh! are you alright?"
dat voice
"I hope I didn't slap you too hard..."
dat amazing voice
"Uh...hello?"
"Oh! um, sorry, I was thinki-"
You lose all sense of intelligible speech when you realise who you're talking to.
"Thinking of what, hmmmm?"
"Uh..." You start blushing. alot. "I...Uh...Nothing!"
Your face has a striking resemblance to a tomato.
"It doesn't seem like nothing"
"Well..I..Uh..."
Well done, you're now being encroached upon by Vinyl, conveniently for her there's a corner behind you.
"No really! It was nothing at all!"
A sweat bead starts to form upon thy brow, not going unnoticed by Vinyl.
She giggles (yeah, her giggle is adorable) and says "Were you thinking about me?"
Your face is now redder than ever, and being backed up into a corner by the girl of your dreams? Not helping. All of a sudden you feel something wrap around your body. Vinyl is hugging you. You were unprepared for this. You look down and see that Vinyl is blushing lightly.
"Were you really thinking about me?"
"Well...yeah, but it's only beca-"
Well this was unexpected, even moreso than the hug. Vinyl had just kissed you. not a super deep and passionate kiss, more of a shy peck on the lips. Either way it's still enough to nearly make you faint. In fact, for comedic purposes, you do faint. Ha. Take that.

~Dream Sequence (woo!)~

You blink awake, lying in bed next to Vinyl (fully clothed, this aint no clopfic...yet ;) ). She's still asleep, so you decide to get up and make breakfast in bed. You walk down into the kitchen and look over at the calendar, Mother's Day. Shit. You forgot to get Vinyl a present, so you hope she'll take the breakfast in bed and be happy with it.

I was at the South Australian version of ComiCon :p

It's a bit short and rushed, not to mention i don't think that even a girl like vinyl would kiss someone with only a few words (If that was the case, the earth would be way more overpopulated than it is right now.)

you should add a bit more detail into everything, and you never said this was a HiE story. (The part where it said "You're human." at the top of the chapter.)

Play this right, and this will hit the featured box (It can get that good with a more-solid foundation and a great plot.)

Anyways, great job!
