Emi "Ember" Hakike is not the largest or strongest of the Crystal Perp girls, but hey, that never stopped anybody else.
When hockey season comes to Canterlot City, she's ready to put her skills on the ice to good use and prove her dad wrong. She's prepared for anything the Ice can throw at her.
Except for maybe overly affectionate and clumsy goaltenders, a shrill-voiced jack-of-all-trades, (metophorical) demons after her family, morally dubious drifters, morally dubious headmasters, morally dubious teammates, and a kind-of rivalry with an overly competitive uber-athlete who also has someone to prove herself to.
Oh, and there's also the occasional racist joke here and there.
Cancelled and currently being rewritten
Takes place squarely in between Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games
Rated T for occasional racial or sexual humor that would fly over the head of a younger audience.

9034620yes, it's smoulder, Spike is still a dog in my continuity, though that may be subject to change in stories that take place after LofE and the 'Magic' specials
and remember this is the LADY Wondercolts and unnecessarily gender-neutral anything isn't exactly seen as a good thing (2018 MTV Movie Awards, anyone)

also if spike were human I'd give him the same last name as Twilight and Shining (Spino in my continuity cause Night Light is asian) for obvious reasons
9034900
no it's Smoulder
9034907
no, it's just something asian sounding I came up with,
also, Ember is full-blooded Japanese while Night Light is of Cantonese/Hong Kong descent

"magic" translates to "mofa" (pronounced Mow-fah) in simplified chinese
do you think that'll work better

ok, you ever watched hockey? I’ve seen a few games during olympics time but I want to make sure I‘m not getting details wrong, like what calls for penalty time and shootouts
having only six mentioned on the roster instead of the actual 20 for hockey was intentional, as I didn’t want to introduce or make up too many characters for the dual protagonists to interact with

ok, I’ll ask around and watch Ninh Ly’s video on Ice Hockey, then.
