Not much to say here. Most of my stuff's pretty old by now (Over a year) but I've never uploaded it here, so I figured I might as well. I mean, why not?

Did the Grand Galloping Gala truly end after the mane cast left? Was the night truly over with those dreaded events? Or was it possible that something could have been salvaged of that disastrous evening of broken hearts and shattered dreams?

"This is an absolutely brilliant comedy of errors. An extremely clever subversion of the final episode with great pacing and dialog. I giggled openly; we don't get anywhere near enough silly pieces like this."-Equestria Daily Pre reader #2

A/N: This idea struck me at midnight one night. Four hours later (yes, that's 4am) it was finished. Confound these ponies! They drive me to write fanfics!

Bear in mind that this story was written almost immediately following the debut of the final episode of season 1, and therefore some fanon personalities (specifically, those of the musicians, Octavia in particular) hadn't really been developed yet.

Funny story about this story. It was featured on Equestria Daily on May 11, 2011. Shortly thereafter, blogger had a massive crash and went down, causing a rollback of recent posts. This featured story just happened to be stuck on the very front page for several days, garnering much more attention towards it than I ever imagined! Most favorable, thank heavens.

Equestria Daily page can be found here.

A Dramatic Reading of this story was created and done for a contest that Celestia Radio held last year. It can be found here.

4 am!? That's, like, four whole hours past midnight! Wait, you already said that... Anyways, I'm particularly fond of subversions, especially of the brilliant variety. Definitely going to read this one!

I remember reading this back on EQD. I thought it was rather enjoyable. I will admit. it would of been interesting to see what would have happened if he could have found Rarity. Have you ever thought about a follow up or sequel?

Plesent, though it feels incompleate, ahh well.

Oh yeah I remember this one. Always wondered why no one else went with the Blueblood twin brother route. I don't any writer has used that idea since then ether.

This fic... I really, really liked this. Just how everything was a grand, unfortunate beautiful accident, and that to a degree, it could have been almost exactly what it got chalked up to be (minus Twilight and Pinkie's amibitions, though the latter did seem to get some compensation post haste). I loved the idea, and in particular the twin of Blueblood, and I'm surprised no one else has played with that idea, so I have seen. Good show. It was a bit short for my likings, but then, it didn't carry on too long as to become redundant.

I totally thought it was spelled Vain since the first time I read it and didn't review.

I found this a while ago, read it, loved it, closed my browser without doing anything, and have been looking for it ever since. Glad I finally found it again. It really deserves more praise- it's fantastic. Also, I now ship Rarity and Victor, and wish for a sequel where he finds her.

Fuck both Victor and Soarin. :twilightangry2:

Somebody should write a sequel
