Hmm that's a distinct possibility. Although I severely doubt Pinkie would throw less parties... no, it's not the number of parties, but simply the little nudges the Drunken Hoof of Fate deals along the way. The series of disasters are just a consequence of more destiny-crucial ponies in one place. After all, the wise know that adventure follows adventurers, and not the other way around.

I have to assume those mints can’t possibly be approved by any kind of regulatory body. They’d probably recreate the scene from scanners if you had a mouthful of them.
