I am tremendously glad to know that my enjoying the earlier scrap saw this through to the end. Beautiful piece of Lunas interacting with one another, the ephemeral and the physical able to connect despite being worlds apart.

And I have several questions about Princess Celestia trying to ride a motorcycle.

Thank you for this.

Luna is the premier, pungently powder-smoke-perfumed, pinioned pony princess psychopomp prodding passed principals on!

Thanks for writing this; it was an atmospheric and quite lovely read.

I don't know what to say. Just saying that its a great story (while true) doesn't feel like it's enough. This is the kind of writing that everyone looks for in fanfiction, but hardly ever finds. The kind of thing that always leaves you asking for more.

I think what i'm trying to say is that you did a great job on this. I hope you enjoy writing these to the fullest.

"Can they be saved?" Luna looked up at the Princess, at her huge, shining eyes that bore so much pain and sadness.

"I do not know," she said. "Perhaps, at the end of all things."

Yes, they will. They have to spend eternity in Hell with me:pinkiecrazy: I'm there obviously for my misogynistic thoughts and love of free speech. Ah Hell, next to the crackling fire. Just like when I was a boy.

Wonder whats on the tv in hell

He pops up a lot doesn't he?

Those are lovely horse words. I'm happy that the muse reached in and thwacked your Write impulse.

Sad and bittersweet, but of course a story of aging and death is. At least Luna faced it with courage, and the death-with-reincarnation gives hope. And who knows? - perhaps her sister will join her somewhere on the other side...

Lovely work.

Came here because of its addition to the Ponidox Contest folder for other ponidoxes.

I read the prequel and was wondering how this was gonna work.

Interesting.

Typo:

LUna > Luna

"Those of this world that denied the choice between life and death. This is their torment. There is no hate amongst them, no anger, no fear, because there is no joy, no love, no compassion. They feel nothing but the endless despair for life."

Whoever designed that cosmology seems remarkably cruel.

Luna chose life again. What happens to those who choose death?

Very heartfelt and worth to be seen both as character study and just as a solid piece of work. I loved the mystique of 'not-horse' Luna, I think it is rarely being captured so vividly

Ha! I stumbled upon this story just now because it was a "Similar" for https://www.fimfiction.net/story/538539/swim-class-of-madness-during-your-worst-nightmare-water-safety-is-important . (As the author of that, I feel complimented!)

More to the point, I enjoy the way you write Princess Luna's dialog here, as if you've been reading and understanding enough Early Modern English, Shakespeare and his ilk, to do it right and well.

I also enjoy some of the sensory details, like human Luna's perceptions of the scents and their analogues. And this is imho a pretty good handling of the mythologies of death and what comes after, with a gentle, unforced touch.

(As a side note, I haven't read any of the prequels or sequels to this story, so I'm 'coming in cold' and liking it anyway.)
