Greenback

'Visions are worth fighting for. Why spend your life making someone else's dreams?'

T

Princess Twilight Sparkle has a problem... Despite everything she and her friends have done, Equestria isn't the utopia she hoped it would be: Not everyone has accepted the magic of friendship, other kingdoms are still locked in age-old feuds, and problems keep popping up one after another. How is she going to find the answers to these problems? By asking the Supreme Creator Of All Things, of course!

There's no way this could possibly go wrong!

Because of how touchy the subject of religion can be for people, this story is not about discussing the merits and drawbacks of religious faith, the failings of a particular religion, or how all believers or non-believers are stupid/dumb/ignorant. It's about exploring what would happen if we were to physically talk to a supernatural being and they talked back.

I was thinking the story wasn't weird or crazy enough to befit it's title and cover in the first half, with how calm everything was while Twilight explained her plan.

Man, did the second half make up for that.

If the Gods revealed themselves in their true power this would be the likely result.

Fun story.

Thought I had an idea where that was going. Was not prepared for that second half.

In the most literal way, OH MY GOD

Exodus 20:16. And they said unto Moses: "Speak thou with us, and we will hear; but let not G-D speak with us, lest we die."

The main thing missing here is ponies losing control of their bowels and bladder. No way they all go through that with their dignity intact, especially when some of them inflate.
