Just a guy who found out that a show about talking ponies is a lot better than I expected.

The color grey carries connotations about the time someone has left. Most people would rather not think about them. For Twilight Sparkle, that isn't an option anymore. All she can do is stare at Rarity.

I'm always up for a good Rarilight story and the concept is interesting. Definitely looking forward to see where this goes.

I kind of always figured Twilight would at some point, go insane and preserve her friends in some fashion. Stasis spell, immortality serum, carbonite...

:duck: Well what will we do about Spikey?
:moustache: How about Bat Man and Cat Womans answer to Robin the Boy Wonder?
:twilightoops: Kill him?
:facehoof: Comic Books...
:raritystarry: Imagine the Fashion!

I have a feeling the next chapter is gonna be called 'Black' and will not exactly be a happy ending.

But this chapter was cute. I like how you pictured the situation more realistically rather than force a generic love triumphs over all situation. For this, I command you.

Looking forward to the ending. :)

Love is telling those who are against your choice to 'Go to Hell!' Because Love is always about bucking the odds and going for the Gold. And these two? Maybe they should take the chance and go for that gold

Yup. I was right.

Despite how sad it was, you still managed to end on a somewhat bittersweet note with the implication that they will reunite one day. And with that, you managed to create a hopeful ending instead of a tragic one. And instead of crying, I was happy for them.

This was a very cute little novel. Very nice work!

Thanks. I was actually debating whether to have the final chapter be Black, or Rainbow, sort of bringing all of the colors together, but having the Mane Six come together right after Twilight and Rarity start "dating," and a discussion about that. It would've been a happier ending, but I decided I liked this better.

I think you made the right call. This ending works better with the theme you were going for with the whole long life angst. It brings some closure.

She probably wouldn't live for a thousand years, like Celestia or Luna, because their magic was enhanced by their connections to the sun and moon.

That’s honestly a really good reason!

Great story! I really really liked it and Ngl it made me cry.
