Hopefully Spike will avoid the same little fiasco Twilight and her friends went through during their camp trip. Unless this is meant to be some form of reboot that instead has Spike in the leading role. Almost an awkward first impression between Spike and Wallflower, but hopefully the tension sets itself at ease. Nice to see a human identity for Spike, sometimes I wonder why they couldn't give him a human form in the first place.

Good opening, and it looks like Spike made his first friend with Wallflower. Nice they're roommates at camp. Didn't know they were doing co-ed. But that's good for Spike. But I can't wait to see if that'll lead to some awkward moments between them.

My opinion is that there's two possible reasons of that:
1) Equestria Girls has always been about GIRLS--and even though our society has been progressing between genders and roles, its still a polarized point to make Spike a male protagonist in a predominantly female dominated 'verse. Just my opinion though.
2) is a little related to 1) because of the role, and can be because of species too. Spike is a dragon, not a pony. So far there are EQ counterparts of a lot of characters from MLP, but they are all ponies there. Spike became a dog in Sunset Shimmer's world, and there isn't another non-pony that has a EQ girls human counterparts, not even changelings that by canon can change into anything suitable for whatever universe they are in. A significant missed opportunity there, since there are canon unusual pairings (YonaBar, GallStream, even SpAbby). Again its just my opinion.

I also am relieved Spike is human in this. I have nothing against Spike the Dog but its seem more fitting Spike is an actual human little brother to Twilight. It just work better in my opinion.

True, but with their exceptions I don't see any creature less wit a EQ counterpart unless they are equine...Still, nice catch Wildcard. I overlooked them.
That was sweet between Spike and Wallflower, and now Spike met more certain ladies who will be coming after him.
I can imagine one night Spike and Wallflower while having a curtain set up while they each change this kind of scene plays out from both their ends.
I can't wait to see what other kind of things Spike and those girls could get up too at camp. Looking forward to the next one
Wonderful job. Love the artwork for the girls swimwear, as well as their interactions. Especially the song from Scooby Doo. Probably my favorite one of all. And if they thought swimming during daytime was something, I wonder if any of the girls will invite Spike out late at night for skinny dipping. A forbidden camp activity.
Well interesting design but i always prefer only swim trunks, maybe Spike isnt that muscular but i think the girls could be aroused for saw him withouth shirt
