This story is precious and so are you 🙏🙏🙏
I know I read it once before but I still gotta comment(!) so I promise I'll edit this comment to be more substantial when I'm not braindead.
Oh this was a great story. The natural feel it has makes everything so real even with the mentions of Sunset's magical past, and the little bits of humor never failed to get me grinning.
There's also a very warm feeling to everything, from the interactions, which are great, to the scenery and ambient, makes it a comfortable space for Wallflower to show the old wounds she's been carrying for a long time.
This one hit close to home.
Great work and hope to see more of your work in the future.
Redemption is a funny thing, isn't it?

Glad you enjoyed and thanks for giving me a chance to write some wholesome Wallflower.
Er... well as wholesome as teenage depression can be.

Honestly, calling my fic real is the best compliment ever. It's something I try really hard to achieve, so it's nice to hear i'm pulling it off.

This comment feels meta.
i loved reading this! the voice is very distinctly You, a trademark humor and levity underpinning what is, at its core, a very raw and relatable story. i think you do a great job capturing what made Wallflower such an engaging character - i can certainly relate to being sad, scared, and alone. excellent work!
Lovely stuff. Raw and deeply heartfelt emotion and some great interaction from both ends, both lighthearted and otherwise. I don't think I've ever seen Wallflower as a former Crystal Prep student before. It adds a fascinating twist to how she got to where she was when she unearthed the Memory Stone. Thank you for this.
I had a goddamn flashback at this point to a time when I was making plans without any real belief that I'd be around to see them through, but what else was I gonna do?
Anyways, this was lovely and ouch, but it's nice to see something like this out in the world to remind us we're not alone.
All the best coffee comes from Indoneighsia. Particularly Sumatra (Sumatrot?). The volcanic soil gives the beans a nice spicy, smoky, earthy richness.
And kopi luwak is pretty good, if not quite worth the price and ethical issues.
