Gallus goes to visit Smolder in the hospital after an accident during cheerleading practice. While she is recovering well, the scare does cause Smolder and Gallus to talk about their relationship. However, even as she is recuperating, the two can't help but exchange insults and taunts to one another.

It honest to gosh wouldn't surprise me if any of their dates ended with one or both of them winding up in the hospital, or at least with an injury that needed patching up. Routinely so, even. After all, a large part of their whole relationship is their cat fighting. That, and they are the sort who'd consider starting a bar fight part of a great date, I'm sure.

This is one of the most adorable and heartfelt Smollus series I have read in quite a while. They manage to be cute and charming, while still staying in character.
