the fact that the clock represents the 'time' that the regent Taboritsky (aka the human version of this fiction'sTwilight) needs to finalise his vision for Russia before Alexei returns to take the throne of Russia(Taboritsky thinks that Alexei II Romanov, Czar Nicholas son, wasn't actually killed with his family by the bolsheviks, that he survived that and went into hiding for 40+ years from the Soviet menace and take it ack when everything is prepared).
Game-wise; the clock is a system that the player needs to keep it under control so he can finish the remaining focus tree and unity the rest if Russia, or else it will a really quick ending.

If you have Hearts of Iron 4 & you have a decent PC you should definitely try TNO, it has a huge lore and so many interesting nations you should try!

A bit odd to see Mature and Violence when the story contains only vague implications of violence on par with the show. Surely Teen and Tragedy would be better.
This was a good fic, if I had one complaint, it'd be that there isn't enough stuff from the Twilight Theory event that made it here, such as the Civil War or the execution of the Mane 6, but besides that, nice!
